Is anyone doing the mileage club/walking recess? Kids get punch cards and walk a route. They earn (pts, stickers, etc) for each mile they walk. We are looking for an efficient way to mark or punch the cards to keep track of their laps. Thanx for any ideas...
each kid has a card with feet around it. each lap gets a foot punched. each card completed gets the kid one of those plastic little feet to go on a necklace or shoelace.
we have volunteer parents who help; they punch and i think they hold onto all the cards, organized by class.....not sure....(they get card to PE teacher when need new one and to get plastic foot) also don't know how many laps a card is worth.
