I need a few 10-15 minute activities, preferably that involve movement. The ones I have so far:

*give every child an object and they have to find the partner that rhymes (I like to do this with puzzle pieces so it's self correcting)
*pocket chart sort
*grab bag - pull out two objects and if they rhyme they stay out, if they don't they go back in
*rhyming bingo
*draw a rhyme - I give a rhyming "clue" and they have to fill it in and draw. For example, if we are drawing monsters the clue could be "I like to smell a rose, now you need to draw a ___"

I do something similar to what you do. I have rhyming puzzles, but never thought to give them out and have my students find the rhyming pieces from the other students. What a great way to make it self-checking! I have to try it with my students.

Here is one we do sometimes. We sit criss-cross in a circle on the carpet. I start a rhythm: slap-slap (slap tops of our legs with our hands), clap-clap (clap our hands 2x), snap fingers on right hand (teacher says word), snap fingers on left hand (Student(s) say a word that rhymes.). Repeat.

Sing rhyming songs. Down by the Bay, Wlliby Wallabe, and there are a ton. I am a little tired and brain isn't working. Sing rhyming songs ever day as a part of your routine.

Lots of songs
I'm really tired. The only one I can think of right now is "Did You Ever See?"
Did you ever see a ______ in a _______?
Did you ever see a ______ in a _______?
No I never, never, never
No I never, never, never
No I've never seen a ______ in a _____.

The students fill in the blanks with rhymes. Sometimes we tweak the song to make it work.

Sheep/Jeep
Star/ car
Goat/boat
