Halloween Painting

Clip to ScrapBook #1

In my small town where I grew up, people used to paint the windows of the stores in the town with Halloween scenes. The teachers used to pick the students to do this. There were prizes. I remember doing it twice, although I never won a prize. This is one of my favorite memories of Halloween. Did they do this in your town?

Years ago we did this in my town in Ohio. I lived quite a few places as an adult an never seen it done any where else.

Not for Halloween but during Homecoming week high school students paint the windows of local businesses (with permission of course!)
