So he got laid off 2 weeks ago and has been going on job interviews. He called me last Thursday and told me he "killed" the inteview. (stupid me didnt know what that meant. he told me he did great and he would keep me young with his lingo ) Anyway, he sent a thank you for meeting with me letter the next day. He still hasn't heard (it's only really 4 days). Is there anything he can do? Call again? If so, say what? Please let me know.. its a really good job for him. Thanks

My cousin had to look for a new job due to her company relocating. She had dozens of interviews. She was amazed at how she would receive no response about a job for weeks, sometimes even months. Most places take their time. It took her six months to get a new job. After she started her new job, she heard back from several places she had interviews with. She did send the same type of letter after every interview but did not have more contact because she didn't want to seem like a pest. I would just have him wait it out.

Honestly? He needs to wait longer. Gone are the days when a young person interviews and hears the next day. My youngest son interviewed at a great tech company and the whole process took about a month +. There were multiple steps and patience was a virtue. Yes he got the job and loves it. You just cant rush the corporate process. Good luck!
