i have 12 students that are allowed (district paid for) to use iReady instruction on the computer--and MUST use it 2x a week for 20 minutes.

i need something else for the rest of the class to do. (i've been having them work on computers because they'll whine otherwise.) i've found different games to practice the skills we're learning. great. now the iReady kids don't want to do THEIR work; they're whining about wanting to play games.

if i had a subscription to ixl, i'd have them do some of those problems....but i don't ....yet.

any ideas on something i could have them do (that isn't too fun)?

*i think i will eventually have them on Imagine Math (new Think Through Math) but i've never used it and will have to learn.....

Prodigy Math?
Skoolbo?

We use both intermittently and Prodigy is popular.

Moby Max allows you to create a class for free. It will give a placement test and then have lessons in the areas each student needs.

I definitely wouldn't have anyone playing games. They all need to be working. Otherwise, the kids on iReady will feel like they are being punished.
