Clip to ScrapBook #1

One of my students told me that her older brother kept "harrasking" her and it was so annoying. I asked her what "harrasking" meant and she said it means that he wouldn't stop asking annoying questions . She combined asking and harassing. I told her I understand that feeling completely.
She also told me one day that she was going to "hop school" (rather than skip school) on Friday for a weekend trip with her family. It will be her first day absent, and I don't know what I will do without her.

I love these.

My youngest referred to memories as "rememberies".

My neighbor's daughter used to put the prefix "un" at the end of a word: lockun the door, the door is openun.

I absolutely LOVE "harrasking"!!! I'm stealing that word!

It reminds me of a cleaner version of this:
