Coat suggestions

I need a new winter coat. I canít stand heavy and bulky coats. I am not a fan of hoods because I feel like they pull back on my throat and neck. The average winter temperature here is 28-35 degrees. So, anyone have a coat they love and would recommend?

I bought one at Kohls last winter. It looks like a nice, wool dress coat, but it is knit like a tshirt. Warm, but not overly so. Lightweight, too. Hood removes.

I don't even wear a coat until it drops below freezing.

I just bought a North Face short jacket . Very little bulk and great figure flattering cut. I also wear a long lightweight but bulky LandsEnd down coat for the windy, rainy and cold mornings. That is my favorite coat!

For those kinds of temps I have an Anne Klein coat very similar to this one that I got from Macy's. I have a bright color that isn't on the link (got a year or two ago) and I get tons of compliments.

Columbia brand has a super lightweight jacket out now that is very effective in colder temps. It has the Omni lining.
