Question about Classkick

I read about Classkick on here ~ amazing! So, I tried it and everything seemed to go great with it.

They didn't finish their assignments, but it automatically saves, so that's not such a big deal, right?

However, I had two students tell me that when they went back to the site ~ their work was lost. Can you explain this?

Thanks so much!!!

I had that happen to one, it kicked him off and lost everything. I think itís a clitch. Can you still see it on your side?

We just finished making explorer trading cards from Read!Write!Think! and we had horrible issues with them not saving. We did the same project on iPads last year and didn't have any problems. We switched to Chrome Books this year and if the kids left the site to find a picture or if they closed out for the day their work disappeared. So frustrating!!

No, it's gone from my screen, too. Being new with it all, I didn't notice when or how that happened.

I'm wondering... I once had trouble similar to this with GoogleForms. The best we could figure was that students were spending so much time on the assignment, that it just... "timed out". Could that be the case here? We spent, I dunno, a half-hour, 45 minutes on the assignment. Was that too long?

Or... might it time out if students open up their work, but then don't do anything on it right away?

Or... is it just more likely that the student simply made some sort of a silly error, hit select all & deleted it accidentally?

I'm so glad to get a response ~ as this program is going to be a BIG help to my school; I want to find a way to make it work! Thank you so much for any ideas you may have!
