My students are great. Best classes anyone could want. They're not the problem. Just the schedule and things that everyone in teaching deals with. But today I could see my goal. Next Friday is it! Yes, that will be the last day before three weeks of Christmas break, but this is better. Next Friday my wife will be coming through the door with her Christmas haul from her classroom. I know so much of it's gonna be that less than desirable stuff, but right this moment that is highly desirable to me.

I hope the three week vacation puts you in better shape for school. At least you can say your students are great. Funny how all those gifts your wife will bring home make things feel more festive.

Wow, you have so much to look forward to! You will have to be sure and update us on what she brings home to you!

I hope you're planning a nice welcome home reception for your wife next Friday, otherwise she may decide to hide the good stuff.

What a nice long break. I know it all evens out in the end, but right now, I'm jealous. We get a week for a holiday break, 2 days for winter break in February, a week for spring break, and a day here and there. It's 184 in all with teacher in service/prep days.

It's almost the 15th- enjoy your long break while I peel my first graders off the ceiling and attempt to teach them- ho, ho, ho!

You can do it. And be extra nice to wife. That haul usually involves cookies and candy.

Mostly of your break - we go until the 22nd, and return on the 2nd.

Cool beans for you!! You talked about it the last few years. Hang in there. She’ll be there with the hall soon!!

Do you still eat persimmon? I dried a bunch this year. Pretty tasty.😀
