Surgery went well

I had foot surgery on Friday and stayed the weekend with family. I'm home and man it is tiring to get around with a walker, but I'm not in as much pain as I thought I would be. Thanks for the well wishes.

Good to hear things went well. It's always surprising to discover just how difficult it is to navigate after surgery. Take it easy.

Try not to over do it.
Rest is an important part of healing after surgery.

Can you have one of those scooters where you rest your knee on it instead of a walker? Maybe that would be easier. Take care so your foot will heal well.

I had a scooter for four months, because crutches just didn't work at school. Hubby is using a walker in the hospital. He'll need to use it for at least 6 weeks. Since his leg was broken right below the knee, he can't use a scooter. Take it easy, though. It's tempting to do too much.
