And i loved it. Be sure to monitor that readers are actually reading the story or their scores will be low. My lowest readers to highest could work on the same program - score! Good ida to work 2 - 3 times a week to get results.

I used it with my third graders and thought it was really good. It is set up in a similar way to our standardized testing, so I felt like it was good practice because it is short, leveled passages followed by 3-5 comprehension questions. Sometimes the whole class would do it, sometimes I would let early finishers do it. I also allowed students to use it at home (after getting parental permission and after I explained it at conferences) instead of reading books for their reading logs. And it's free! There is a little bit of research out there that teachers who were polled thought that it bumped their students' reading scores up a bit.
