Biography Book Talk-Help

I'd like to have students complete a biography/autobiography book talk. I don't want to do a wax museum because they did that last year and I'd like something simpler. The nonfiction book talk projects I find are geared toward text features. That's not what I'm looking for either. I really don't want to spend the day creating something. So, if you have suggestions or $ products I'd appreciate the help.

What are you wanting them to do?

I had kids read a biography and then present from the point of view of the person they read about. They filled out index cards, we did one card per subtopic (childhood, what they’re famous for, interesting facts, etc).

They dressed up as their person and presented. When they were done the kids asked question. This was pre-TpT.

It was fun.

I love this! It seems ideal. My goal is to keep it simple because we are beginning state testing about the time these will be due.

I have done both wax museum and Greyhound's way. We also made a visual besides just dressing up too. They had the info glued on a poster or tri-fold to display while they gave their "report".

This company has some great book report templates for inexpensive prices. I like this one. They could make it look like the person they read about.
