Halloween Door Decorating Ideas

Clip to ScrapBook #1

We're having a door decorating contest for Halloween. Any creative (new) ideas of what we could do in Grade 3? We're using the doors as decorations for a trick or treating party after school. My door has 3 rectangular panes of glass that take up the top half of the door. The bottom half is solid wood. Thanks in advance for your ideas!

I visited a school once where all the doors were faces. For example, cover your door with green paper and make it a witch's face. Place
3-D hair made from crepe paper around the top and sides. Put a black paper or plastic hat over the top.

I loved all the doors.

I made a huge coffin out of cardboard and designed it so that the door of the coffin could open and close. I then attached it to the door and had one of my students stand inside. As the students form different classes came by to view the doors, my student would jump out and scare the viewers. There were a lot of adults that were running. It's so much fun!
