Formatting Emails and showing Data

Do I have to use screen shots of emails?

If the answer is no, what must I include/exclude when transcribing the email into word?

Also, can I just type data into a table rather than screenshot it from a website?

Thank you!

I didn't use screenshots--they take up too much space. And yes to creating a table; I did that, too.

I was thinking about this today actually. I was able to get some disrtict level data to support my PLN. Is i lt ok to put it into my own table, even though it's not my data?

I'm putting together my email correspondence for evidence and am thinking of using screenshots, but now mulling over the decision. Did you retype the emails and use a different font? I know space is at a premium.

Yup! That's exactly what I did and could fit much more on a page without sacrificing space while still legible.

Sorry for more questions on this, but my cohort keeps getting postponed bc of snow, but I need to keep working.

For my KOS, I have 2 different surveys I'd like to reference for page 1. Can I re-type the questions into a word doc to avoid the wasted space on the survey? I'd like to use the page for each of those, with a data table and explanation under the questions.

For page 2, I want to use data I collected from a state whole child assessment for Kinders, but I'd like to cut the bottom half off the full page report, then paste it into a word doc with explanations of the data underneath.

I've reread the component specific directions as well as the general instructions for evidence, but I can't find anything specific to this. I know I can't reduce anything from the original size, but this isn't that.

Very grateful for any input!

You can use submit the survey however you think best. Re-formatting it from the original is fine.

For the assessment data, it sounds to me like you are organizing data, which is completely fine. But you can't submit anything directly from an assessment--not even a graph that DIBELS (or iStation or iReady or whomever made the test) provided showing your kids' scores.

I didn't even think of that, thank you! The table is actually collective class data, not individual rankings....if I created my own table with the same info, is that ok?

Whatever data you think is best, then yes. And re-format it into your own graph/table/chart/whatever.

Last question before I go smack my head against the wall......do we need to follow the Arial 11pt double spaced requirements for evidence submission? For example, if I cut and paste an email, or re-type, can I single space it? I can only find info on reducing.

Man, if I'm struggling with this, what am I going to do when I have to cut 4 pages from my C2 WC???

There are no formatting rules for evidence pages, e.g. Arial 11 pt font, double spaced, 1" margins. It does have to be legible at 100%. Assessors won't increase the page view.
