The Scholastic Teacher Store is having their Dollar Days sale. It began 12/1 and ends 12/31, or until they sell out. There were already a couple of items that were sold out.

I purchased twelve items and paid $2.25 in shipping.

Here is the link:

Happy Shopping!

I just went to that site, and bought 9 things. It only cost $25 including shipping and handling.

Thanks for the heads up! I just bought 13 great books and only spent 15 dollars! Normally, one of those books would be 15 dollars!

Its too bad the site is only for teachers in the US. I found many great books and other stuff I'd love, but the company does not ship to Canada. I searched on Scholastic Canada's Website and it doesn't offer any of the same deals. Hopefully I'll have better luck next time! Enjoy all of your purchases at such great prices!!

Thanks for the heads up! I am changing grade levels next year and bought 22 items for $25.00. The computer wouldn't process the order but I called customer service and they placed the order. Thanks again!

Ugh, I hate that website so much. First of all, it's the slowest moving site ever. Then after you've wasted all that time placing items in your cart and then go to checkout, they give a "We Are Sorry" error message and delete everything from the cart. This happened the last time they had this sale, too, and I remember many people complaining about it.

Thank you!!!! I bought 1 big book ($3.50), 1 book on tape ($7.95), and 23 prof./activity books for $1 each! Shipping was only $3.10. I hope that they are able to send me everything. I remember everyone who complained last time they had a major sale.

I had similar problems as someone else. I wanted to buy many things as a new 4th grade teacher. Each time I tried to submit it, there was an error. Finally I scanned the order and sent it to customer service. We shall see...

The site was moving so slow yesterday because there were so many people on trying to take advantage of this sale. The error message came up for me also, but because I bought 18 items and saved over $100 I thought it was worth it to go back and try again. The second time I got through. It was very slow but the key to this site yesterday was patience.

Good thinking mrs9!!!

I just spent time preparing an order, and I got the error message that the previous poster mentioned. No dollar deals for me!

I discovered that if I signed in first, the order went through. I ordered twice and it worked both times. The other thing I did make a mistake about was it ships to school, and when I put the credit card info in, it automatically checked billing and shipping are the same. They're not, because I was using a personal credit card, not the school's purchase order. I didn't realize it until the order went through, so now I'll be contacting customer service to make sure that they understand that the billing and shipping addresses won't match. I didn't check the bottom of the receipt, I was just looking to make sure I had my items correct, so I didn't catch it until I did the second order.

I've tried several times. I've signed in first. I've even used a different computer just in case there was something wrong with mine. It still won't go through. Oh well.

I tried to place my order 3 times last night and got the error message each time. I did write the number of the item I wanted so that made it faster. I gave up and tried again very early this morning. It was slow but went through with no problems. Be sure to sign in first. Also, place your order during an "off time" - early early morning or late late at night. Don't give up - this deal is too good to give up on. You can also do your shopping and then call it in. Good luck!

I would have missed this if you didn't let us know. The first time I tried, it did not go through, but then I pressed submit again and it did. It was slow, but well worth it. I am addicted to resources and shopped twice. I got some really great things. Wonder how long it will take me to actually use everything I bought. Everyone must take a look. There are over 700 items this year. Wow!
