I agree. I always felt it was a calling, not just a job. That's why everyone can't do it.

Thank you for sharing this article. I enjoy reading about a woman I admire. The story about her sister and students bought tears to my eyes. She must be loved and respected by many students.

I'm looking forward to her going into the inner city schools now during the pandemic more than ever. She would be the perfect example to show how safe schools are now. She could read books, circulate with the students and even eat with them in the cafeteria! What a role model for education she could be!!!!

As long as she and the student body are masked and follow safety protocols. Because, in my opinion, some schools are not safe places to be right now.

They're all masked. I know I've mentioned that my DD chose to start school this year at a community college. Coincidentally, it's a branch of the community college that Dr. Biden is teaching at (the community college has a total enrollment of about 77,000 across all the branches). All students and professors are required to be masked when on campus.
