I too, have sorely missed this board. Your trees are so nice!

I am in a bit of limbo because my ďfancierĒ machine is awaiting a part that is on back order. So I am limited to what my older machine can do.

I took an online course from Sewing Mastery called Stitching Cosmos. It explores a lot of different decorative stitches and I had the bulk of them completed before my machine breakdown. So I am putting four of the squares together to quilt and make into a wall hanging. I still need to do the chenille on the blue block.

I recently participated in a craft group swap. Each person bought a coffee mug and created a mug rug to send to the person they were matched with. The person I was matched with has a cute white pup and collects hearts. This is the mug rug I paper pieced (first time in YEARS!). The mug I sent also had hearts on it. It was fun to participate in this swap. My first ever.

I'm working on memory quilts and it's taking a great deal of time so I haven't made many projects to share lately. I have missed this board. I really enjoy seeing everyone's makes!

Love the trees! So, on the snowman, what background color did you choose to make that white stand out?

Cat woman, I really enjoy seeing all your projects from the classes you take. You are expanding your skills all the time. Cute quilting project. Hope your machine is up and running soon.

You can tell I haven't been on this board in so long, I've made several posts (like on FB) instead of just putting it all in one

Catwoman, I remember your classes and hoped I hadnít missed your posting of the finished square. I hope you get the part soon! It will really add to your sewing area.

md2dkh3, I love the idea of a craft swap! Was it a family, friends, or neighborhood thing? Your mug rug is really cute! The piecing is done well.

The snowman Iím cross stitching is actually on white Aida. There are shades of blue and grey in the body that help with the body outline.

What a cute calf and great painting!

The craftswap was with an online group. I was nervous but a couple of quilters that I have followed for a awhile (watching their youtube videos) joined this swap so I felt it was good. I have no idea if it's just USA or worldwide. I was matched with a person about 45 miles away from me.

I can't wait to see the snowman! Sounds beautiful.

Caroltn4, I think your perspective on the barn is really good! I like how you finished the tops of the railings.
