ISAT Test Motivation Theme

I have to organize a theme day for fun test prep activities with my third graders. The trouble is I cant think of a theme.

I'm in Illinois and we take the ISAT (Illinois Standard Achievement Test)

All I can think of is Rock the ISAT, but I'm not sure the kids will get it.

Any other ideas out there?

to show we are all smart cookies. The cards have a gingerbread boy or girl on them with the word smart going down the side. Each letter in smart stands for a test tip.

WE ARE
Spend your time wisely.
Mark the best answer choice.
Always do your best.
Recheck your work.
Think positively.

COOKIES!

We discuss the ideas and celebrate by eating cookies! We review the cards each day of testing, the kids wear the cards around their necks and have smart cookie snacks after each session.

I'm having my kids come up with encouraging words in an acrostic poem:
I
S
A
T

Something like:
I Sure Am Trying my best
Illinois kids Super At Testing

I am posting them up in the room to remind them to be the best they can be!
I can't wait until they are OVER!
