Do any of you great helpers know of a place you can go to make configuration boxes using your weekly spelling words? I thought I found one once but can't for the life of me find it again. Thanks for your help!

Carl's Corner has a template you can use in Word for Configuration Station.....she already has them made up for most word families. I've just used the template for my alternate spelling words for my high students. Let me know if you have any trouble finding the template....

Thanks for your help. I did find the site, but I am not to bright on the computer. I see the template but can't figure out how to put in my own spelling list. What I want to do is make a word bank of our spelling words and have the students put them in the correct configuration boxes. Thanks for your help.

This is not a spelling box site, but it is a wonderful site for spelling. You can imput your spelling words, the kids can go to the site, even at home, and practice, take a quiz/test.... It says the word out loud, can even give the word in a sentence! It's completely free!

Have a great Tuesday!

If you buy a membership to edhelper.com, you can get your configuration station word boxes (word shapes) for your spelling words. What reading series are you using?

A to Z teacher stuff website, you can create your own configuration boxes with your own words. I do it with weekly spelling words or sight words.
