What do you mean by famous...intellect or pop culture? Tell me a little bit more. Are these their role models?

I just did a biography project, too---students created a file folder project--designed an illustrated cover, used Timeliner to create a timeline of the person's life, wrote a formal essay and included a works cited. The students on our team selected any person of interest to them to research---historical figures, politicians, athletes, actors, musicans, etc.

I would be interested in other's ideas, as I just collected the projects and plan to display them next week. I'd like your "bright ideas" too!!!

How wierd, I too am doing this project and was trying to think of a title. Love your ideas. I have one for you. I took brown butcher paper and wrote famous quotes on them and then burned the edges to make it look old. I also crinkled them. They are very large and right at the ceiling level out in the hall. All the children love to read them and figure out what they really mean.
