Does anyone have any activities or worksheets to go with this book? We are planning to do a unit with this book, but I am having a hard time finding support online (surprisingly). Thanks for your help!

We have a lesson in our third grade guide using Charlotte's Web. I think it was on vivid imagery. There is a part in the book, I believe it describes the inside of the barn.
What I did was read the part of the barn to the students. I informed them that they were going to close their eyes and picture the barn in their heads. I read the part aloud a few times and then had the students draw a picture of the barn from what they heard. (I also displayed the part on an overhead for the students to review or reread).
After they had completed their pictures, we came back together and discussed how they knew what to draw in their pictures. We also made a list of descriptive words.

Hope this helps. This is just one thing to do with the book.

We read it at the beginning of the year and we did lots of activities. We created menus for Wilbur, the vivid imagery that another poster mentioned, made paper mache pigs (just for fun), and we were lucky enough that it was playing at our local children's theater, so we took a field trip! I have some worksheets but not that I found online. I can scan them in and email them if you send me an email address.

Perfection Learning has a Portal for Learning for many books. Charlotte's Web is a good one. I plan to start CW next week.

I have assembled a journal type book called Wilbur's Woes. The children read a chapter and then complete journal activities nightly. I do not have it on the computer but would be happy to mail a copy to you.
I do have comprehension questions that I can email to you over every three chapters. I have the students complete these in class for a grade.
One activity that I do is send the children home on a Templeton hunt to find a great word for Charlotte to weave in her web. then I have the children take a coffee filter and flatten it out,. We draw with ablack marker an orb web on it. I have them glue a spider (confetti I purchase at Halloween) on the web along with the word. Wepost these outside. Some years we vote on the best word, Have the students write a paragraph tellin why they selected the word.

When I did Charlotte's Web last year I searched on PT and the internet for ideas---

I then made up a word document with all the ideas and a few of the worksheets that I found--so it is all saved in one big word document!

Sorry, I don't know who to reference for all the great ideas---but I bet I got alot of them from people right here!

You can scroll through the pages I have and see if there is anything you can use!

Another thing that I did was after we finished the book I gave each student a chapter (I think--or maybe it was one chapter for every two students, I can't remember how many chapters there are!) and I had them write a summary of the chapter.

They also drew a picture to go along with the chapter.

Then I compiled all the chapters and put them in a report folder with a clear cover and the title sheet that I have attached here.

I kept the "book" in our reading area and they really enjoyed reading their class version of Charlotte's Web!

You can change the cover sheet and picture as needed---
