Teaching The Westing Game

I am reading and teaching the Westing game to my Gifted students. I need Higher order activities. Help!

I did this with my GT group 2 years ago. They had a blooms' book report to do (found in a Carol Ann Tomlinson book- sorry can't remember which one). We also watched the movie Get A Clue and did a compare/contrast venn of the book and the movie.

pizza boxes

I went and got empty pizza boxes and the kids made their own "Clue" type game but with the characters and settings of the book. They absolutely loved this. The day we introduced the games and the kids played them was so fun!

I'll check my file at school and see if there is anything else I can share with you.
