I am a first year teacher so I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of what to get your room mom for the end of the year? Something nice but inexpensive as well... I'm on a tight budget here! :0) Thanks in advance!!

I just bought my room mom a gift today. I went to Schnucks (my local grocery store) and bought her a large pot full of pink mums. It was $12. They had smaller pots for $6 and many other outdoor hanging plants too. I wanted something that she could plant or keep for awhile. I'm also having my class sign a thank you card for her.

Another idea that I was going to do, but didn't was a $10 gift card for Dairy Queen, Cold Stone, or Fritz's so she could get ice cream over the summer.

I hope this helps!

a nice frame with a picture of her working with her child or a child is the favorite gift I hear from mother's over the years. I often see them displayed at graduations.
