Does this sale extend to online buyers as well? It's difficult to get to the Staples near me.

They are the 1/2 inch notebooks that have flexable covers. I use it to turn in my grade book since we have to produce a hard copy from online.

One year I loaded up on the 1 cent boxes of pencils(went in around 5 days in a row) They turned out to be really lousy pencils.Don't waste even a penny on them!

I'll be out of town Sunday - my parents' 40th wedding anniversary - we're taking them out to dinner - hmmm... there will be 12 of us.. wonder if I could convince them all that stopping by Staples after dinner would be a good idea? 12 x 3... yep.. I"m seeing a plan..

In my ad, the third penny item is hand sanitizer. Boo!

The pencil sharpeners were fantastic, but I agree the pencils are no good. Last year I bought a bunch and by the end of the year, my students knew which ones they were and refused to open a new package because they "suck" (yes, I had a 4th grader tell me that last year!)

They are FINALLY building a Staples near me. I could probably walk there it's so close. It won't be done in time for the BIG sales. It looks like they've got more than a month to go to get it ready. I wanted to load up on the cheap things so I'd have prizes for kids!!

Staples Sale

I am going on Monday because there isn't one close by and I have decided to make a shopping day out of it...

Just a heads up for those who haven't seen the other posts - Someone (weezer, I believe) called the corporate headquarters and they said that there is a memo out this year that if you have your Teacher's Reward Card (very simple to sign up for one in the store) or your school ID, you are allowed to get a class set of everything (limit 25).

That will be much better than last year when I had to keep getting back in line until the manager told me, "Okay, I think this is enough..."

The binders are 25 cents for me here -- and I am excited because I think I am going to use them for my MOOSE-type binders this year...last year I used the hard ones and even though I charged $3 for a replacement, I had to replace them all the time because they were getting bent and ripped....I am hoping the flexible ones are going to work better.

I am hoping they let me get 25 of each colored folder, too...I really used all of mine last year and this is such a money saver for me!

Sorry...I am going to just keep typing my thoughts -- with the Purrell, I don't know what I am going to really do with them, but for 25 cents for 25 of them - I am going to buy them...and this kind of thinking is what makes my classroom storage overflow!
