Superhero Help

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I am hoping that some of the creative minds at proteacher can help me with my classroom theme. After having a frog theme for two years, I needed a change. I decided on having a superhero theme. I know I can get supplies at a party store, but those are mostly male superheroes. I was hoping to have some heroines as well. Any decoration ideas you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'll be thinking and coming back with ideas. I love it. How old are your kids? They would love it no matter if you had to be very vintage. Their parents would love it too. (Especially dads). I'm excited for you!
So.. superman, wonderwoman, spiderman, batman, catgirl, robin, .....
I would still die to be Linda Carter!

I found some superhero items when I was looking for bulletin board accents for my candy theme. Check out the "North Star Teacher Resources" website. There are borders, bulletin board accents, pop outs, and other posters about superheros. Check out all of the decoration/bulletin board categories because you can't just search for superheros.

Here is the link...

I was looking through the Carson-Dellosa magazine I just received and there are some cute "Super Kids" related bulletin board ideas. They also have matching border. Very cute!

Just got back from the teacher store and they have superhero bulletin board stuff! It was boys and girls. I got spiderman containers at Target. The girl thing bugs me too-I loved Wonder Woman! I really wanted an invisible plane. I had decided on a completely different theme but just couldn't resist after seeing the bulletin board stuff. I am going to have them draw themselves as superheroes and describe their superpowers. I also thought we'd talk about the Hulk getting "ugly" when he's angry and how that can work into discipline.
