What do you do during writer's workshop? I assume you write, but I am looking for some more details? Also how do you inspire kids to enjoy it?

Be sure to check out the Rose Room below. It is called Units of Study based on Lucy Calkins work. There are many books that be a great resource also: Ralph Fletcher and JoAnne Portalupi, Katie Wood Ray, Lucy Calkins, Sharon Hill and Judy Davis are just a few authors. You can also scan Beth Newingham's website (just google her name). She has many ideas also.

Good Luck!
