Do you plan on keeping this theme for the entire year or changing it occassionally?

I hope you get more responses. I would like to see some different/new ideas.
Some ideas:
Artist of the month/week. This could be a student or a famous person.
Throughout the year you could do different art styles.
You could create an optical illusion of the door being open and well... what is inside is up to you ?? (This may be difficult)
The elements of design.
Art careers.
If you are good at caricatures you could do caricatures that change weekly.

Elementary students will anticipate creative changes.

Year long door

I plan to use my art door throughout the year. The reason being, I want to tie my "rewards" to this theme. This is what I have so far... I will be teaching K-5 art, so I wanted something "catchy." I plan to make my classroom door Campbell's soup can like Andy Warhol's. Instead of saying Campbell's condensed tomato soup, (my name starts with a C) mine will be C..........'s creative art students. It will look just like a soup can. Since this is "pop" art, the students' rewards will be a popcorn party! Sound ok?

I love this idea. It is very creative, unique and educational. I know that my students from k-5 would really enjoy it too.
