How are Random Drawing Winners Selected?

ProTeacher periodically holds random drawings. Here is the general process we use to select winners:

Random Drawing

To select our winners, we use the 'true random number generator' at random.org to choose a random number between 1 and the number of entries received. The generator gives us a number which we match up with the entry number (often the reply number). Next, we check to make sure the respondent submitted a valid entry and has no duplicate entries. A valid entry is an entry that meets all criteria of the drawing. This criteria might include posting on a particular topic or within a particular time frame.

Winners must claim prize within 30 days or forfeit the prize. The winner's prize will be sent by email. Please keep the email address associated with your ProTeacher account valid and up-to-date! We never share your email address with anyone.
